The I 2 Air Infuser A novel method for biocide introduction. Using a patented vapor/air interaction and proprietary resin, as air passes through the I 2 Infuser, it absorbs low dose iodine vapor for sublimation into the fluid. This prolongs resin elution life and eliminates failure through surface coating. It also greatly reduces biocide use and associated costs. Pressure, flow and I 2 release is adjustable and timed to fulfill regulatory and environmental needs and concerns.

The cell wall is exposed continually to new low dose iodine within the air bubbles. Iodine is drawn into the cell and key amino acids in the respiratory chain are broken down. The bacteria is destroyed. The I 2 infused air molecule eliminates free floating bacteria through a biocide vapor/cell wall interaction. Iodine within the water converts to Eco-friendly iodide after bacterial interaction. As I 2 infused bubbles perfuse the water bacterial counts are reduced. Most of the I 2 is imparted into the air.
