»The main objective of Intergeo is to make digital content for mathematics teaching in Europe more accessible, usable and exploitable.«

Project Aims Interactive Geometry is a way to improve mathematics education with the help of a computer. Using sophisticated software, sketches and figures can be brought to life, comparable to what movies mean to images.

Project Aims Although many examples of helpful activities exist, interactive geometry software is still not used regularly in classrooms. Intergeo will attack the three main barriers for a EU-wide adoption of the existing material:  missing search facilities  lack of interoperability  missing quality information

Project Aims In other words: Intergeo will enable you to Find exactly the Content you are looking for Use your favourite Software – free or commercial Get classroom tested Quality for teaching

Project Aims  Intergeo will offer content ready for reuse, with clear licenses, in a searchable and metadata-tagged portal.  Intergeo will map the curriculum requirements of each country of the EU to the system. Find exactly the Content you are looking for Use your favourite Software – free or commercial Get classroom tested Quality for teaching

Project Aims  Intergeo will enable users to use their software of choice by specifying a common file format based on open standards, that can and will be implemented both by commercial and open source developers. Find exactly the Content you are looking for Use your favourite Software – free or commercial Get classroom tested Quality for teaching

Project Aims  Intergeo will test the available material in the classroom. All stakeholders, software teams, resource authors, teachers and learners will be involved, in order to promote quality enhancement cycles through peer reviews, ranking and feedback. Find exactly the Content you are looking for Use your favourite Software – free or commercial Get classroom tested Quality for teaching

New Members Intergeo is constantly looking for If you would like to become a member of the Intergeo community, visit for more information or send an to !  Associate Partners  Country Representatives  User Representatives  Users

About the Project  Start date: 01/10/2007  End date: 30/09/2010  Funding: 1,427,849 €  Intergeo is co-funded by the Community programme eContent plus Oct Oct 2010 Project startProject transferred to community  set up the central platform  clarify licenses  find associate partners etc.  content is available  local user meetings  developing search engine  more classroom testing  Intergeo Conference
