Prepare yourself by reading your Drill Manual and practice and follow the commands therein for Orderwide Uniformity is required. Gain the confidence of your Honor Guard through good Leadership and Careful Planning. Know the wishes of your parish priest before any church event. It is your responsibility to keep your Honor Guard’s skills sharp and their uniform up to the District code. Attend your District Meetings to learn of any changes that may need to be implemented. Remember the Color Corps you lead are the window of the Knights of Columbus. All eyes are upon you! I congratulate you on having gained the trust of your Faithful Navigator and the Sir Knights of your Assembly.

CASKET 1.C.C.C. will lead 1 st pair of H.G. with swords at “Carry Sword” position to the casket and “Halt”. CASKET WATCH POSTING 1 ST GUARDS 2.C.C.C. commands “Present Sword” and “Carry Sword”. 3.C.C.C. commands “Guards Post”. 4.H.G. will go to each end of the casket, where they will “Face” each other. The guards will remain at the position of “Carry Sword”. If a guard is unable to stand at “Carry Sword” then both guards may stand at “Parade Rest”.

CASKET 5.C.C.C. will “About Face” and return to the assembly room, or maneuver as necessary to return to the assembly room. CASKET WATCH POSTING 1 ST GUARDS
