Presentation transcript:

Example 1: A folder containing a number of separate A4 sheets. The sheets would need to be copies, as actual artifacts / products should not be sent. Photographic evidence, with indication of scale where appropriate is all that is required. Also, work is not returned to centres after moderation so it is essential that you keep original work for your own records.

Assessment Record. The assessment record provides additional information / clarification with regard to the visual evidence contained within the file to support each AC. In this case, pages have been identified where evidence of the different ACs can be found.

A description of the work undertaken. In the case the pupil has linked her notes to the individual pages in the file. This is not essential but does provide extra information which can be useful.

An example of a page from the file. The assessment sheet identifies this particular page as part of the evidence to support a number of ACs, such as AC1.2 and AC1.3 All pages have been numbered and link to the assessment sheet.

Example 2: An A4 booklet containing printouts of photographic images of the work, together with annotation, arranged on each page by means of a simple CAD package.

Assessment Record. The assessment record provides additional information / clarification with regard to the visual evidence contained within the booklet to support each AC.

An example of one page from the booklet. ACs linked to the evidence for each separate page The pupil has added his own comments to explain the work.

Example 3: An indexed presentation folder containing a number of photocopied A4 sheets documenting evidence of individual ACs. It is important that photocopies are used, as actual artwork should not be sent. Photographic evidence, with indication of scale where appropriate is acceptable.

The assessment record is important as it provides additional information that supports the visual evidence contained within the folder. In this case, written comments clarify the visual evidence provided for each AC. Assessment Record.

Examples of pages from the folder. This page is to be found In AC3.2 These two pages are to be found in the index AC1.3 and link to the assessment sheet.

Example 4: An A3 sketchbook containing original artwork. The sketchbook pages need to be photocopied, as actual artwork should not be submitted. Photographic evidence, with indication of scale where appropriate is all that is required. It is important to note that work is not returned to centres after moderation.

Assessment Record. The assessment record provides additional information / clarification, in this case explaining on which pages the evidence for the various ACs are to be found.

Examples from the sketchbook. ACs recorded using post-it notes for each page and cross referenced on the assessment record.
