SGA Judicial Court Who are we? –Nine Justices responsible for “duties of constitutional interpretation, legislative interpretation, election regulation, and conflict resolution as granted by the Student Government Association Constitution.” (Judicial Court By-Laws) What is our role in elections? –To serve as a neutral panel for appeals of applications of the Election Regulations –To serve as a board of Constitutional review for the Election Regulations –To formally certify election results

How to File An Appeal Go to jcourt.tamu.edu Click on the “File An Appeal” tab “A candidate may contest an election no sooner than after the announcement of unofficial results, and later than forty-eight (48) hours after the unofficial results are posted by filing an appeal with the Judicial Court stating the basis on which the election is contested.” –Election Regulations
