P3 and P4 visited the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum

Look how small the windows were in the old cottages!

The boys enjoyed exploring EVERY detail of the houses!

How many people can you fit inside an old Bleach Tower?? How many people can you fit inside an old Bleach Tower??

We saw a real well… no taps???

Shoes have changed a lot over the years!

This is Dan the horse. He has lots of jobs to do at the museum. We got to groom him!

Come on Leah use some elbow grease! Come on Leah use some elbow grease!

Justin loved exploring!

Amy taking a little break… there was LOTS of walking!

There were farm animals to see!

There were little baby piglets… they were VERY smelly!

We got to watch a blacksmith make some grills for a barbeque!

Now… We have been learning about how schools have changed. We saw an old school, and thankfully schools have changed a LOT!!

Mrs McCann told us all about what school used to be like!

There was only a fire to heat the school!

Is this supposed to be a flip chart?

No interactive whiteboard?

Imagine going outside when you needed to go to the toilet!

We had such a great day… For a lot of us the highlight was the old sweet shop. Unfortunately we don’t have any pictures as Mrs Stewart was too busy eyeing up sweets for herself!!
