Assignment 2.1

 The program “Twitter” allows one to update what he/she is doing at the time without being subjected to responses from others. It allows people to stay updated on what others have going on in their lives.  Twitter can be managed from home PCs, laptops, and PDAs which allows for fast communication and updates on friends.

 Skype is an online video chat system which allows one to call friends and talk via webcam.

 Priceline is a travel service that allows you to name your own price for your travel plans. You can also choose travel times. However this website is most beneficial to someone who has flexible travel plans.

 Podcasts are digital recordings downloaded offline from use on an MP3 player.  Allows you to listen to your favorite radio or audio program. It is also available in video form as well.

 Magic Jack is a small device which you allows you to experience clear phone calls for free anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.  You plug your phone cord into the Magic Jack, then put the Magic Jack into a USB port on the computer. You are then able to make free, clear phone calls.

 Provides digital flashcards online for various topics and subjects.  You can find or make your own flashcards, and you can study them by various activities made available through study stack.  You can print these cards, or download them to a MP3 or PDA.
