To create her polyptych (POL-ip-tik: a hinged panel painting divided into multiple sections), Samantha juxtaposed drawings with photos and words.

Allison chose a horizontal composition for her piece. She used crosshatching to add texture to her music note and mp3 player sketches.

Molly created an outline drawing of a bird to use in her journal. She used the bird as a repeated element across several of the panels.

Donielle used crosshatching and dots to add dimension to her rose and skull drawings. She used red ink to give the mostly black and white journal a pop of color.

Michaele used scribbles and crosshatching to shade several of her sketches. She used sketches of fingers and X-Acto knives as repeated elements that unify the composition.
