 Comprehensive teaching module ($6000 equipment)  Two-week loan period  Lesson plans provided  50+ AR Teachers certified for use  Aligned to AR Science Frameworks

 Spring 2012 UG Biofuels Class:  10 UAPB UG Students trained as “teacher mentors” for BioTech-iN-a- Box: Biofuels (BTNB).  Professional Development Workshop May 31 st - June 1 st  8 regional (South AR) science teachers trained/certified  Participation by UG teacher mentors

 Arkansas Biosciences Institute Outreach Program  700 students 4-12 grade students/year tour P3 sites  >200 have done hands-on experiments. (e.g. Plant DNA Extraction, Making Biodiesel, etc.)  Other Partners  AR STEM Centers  Conway Ecofest  Professional Development  School Districts (e.g. science nights; science fair)  Summer Science Academies Remember to include P3 outreach tools in “Broader Impacts” sections of grant proposals.
