FAMOUS? Croatia is not famous for automotive industry –there are no big-series final products (cars) –minor exceptions (manufacturers of buses, special vehicles, tractors, agricultural equipment…) But … Croatia has well known industrial tradition, skilled workers & engineers and several proven suppliers of quality parts for the European & global OEM’s –a total of 80 companies with 10,000+ employees –mostly small/medium companies (Tier 2/3), fewer Tier 1 suppliers –specialized mainly in supplying of smaller series, premium brands and prototype producers –even Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes etc. 4
