Evaluate the market research methods used by a selected organisation Task 6 M1 D1 Explain, with examples, how different market research methods are appropriate to assist different marketing situations Evaluate the market research methods used by a selected organisation

M1 Explain a minimum of 4 methods of research that a business has used. For each method of research explain the purpose. For each method of research explain what decisions a business can make. Eg. Kelloggs frequently used home usage tests, this consists of participants taking a product home and using it on a daily basis. The idea of a usage test is to see how well the product fits into daily life and highlight any problems with the products that consumers may have. Kelloggs then gather all of the information from usage tests and identifies any changes that they need to make to their product, they can also use the feedback they receive from their target audience to make adjustments to the product itself

D1 Evaluate the methods of research used by your chosen business. You should include at least 3 well developed advantages and 3 well developed disadvantages. Ensure your ideas are very specific to the chosen business.
