Advanced Product Demonstration

The following presentation will showcase Aircraft Maintenance Systems RD inc. products’ most important features. You will be guided throughout most of the sections of the software via an animated demonstration. All the major functionalities and features of Aircraft Maintenance Manager, Inventory Manager Advanced and their corresponding optional modules will be explained. To keep a reasonable length to this demo, only the key features of our software will be shown. Let’s begin… Introduction

Aircraft Maintenance Manager Click on the picture to access the software’s main menu. Contents Inventory Manager

Aircraft Maintenance Manager Advanced is the definitive solution for maintenance tracking (inspections, components, AD’s, snags), Weight & Balance, Work Report, Major Repairs and Modifications, Logbook entries and so much more. Components Inspections AD’s Weight & Balance Snags Work Report Forecast List & Status Report Remote Documents History Records Click on the section title to directly access the section. Aircraft Maintenance Manager

Access your entire aircraft fleet history records. All Transport Canada, FAA or EASA forms are included. All Transport Canada, FAA or EASA forms are included. Manage your Staff Certification. This is the Aircraft Maintenance Manager main window. Main Menu This section will be used to create, edit and delete new aircraft.

Fill out the remaining information. Once you are done, click on Back to main menu Fill out the aircraft’s information. Aircraft Manager Click on the Add aircraft button.

In the main menu, double- click on the created aircraft. Main Menu

From this window, you can enter your aircraft’s TTAF, Landing and Custom Cycles as required. To update your data, you can either : enter the numbers to add to the total in this field or, you can directly modify the total. When you want to access the aircraft main window, click on Continue. When all your data updates are done, click on Save Flight. Data Update

Now, let’s begin with the Component Manager. Click on the Component Manager button and select Detailed Component/Task View. Now, let’s begin with the Component Manager. Click on the Component Manager button and select Detailed Component/Task View. You are now in the selected Aircraft Main Window. From here you can track all your aircraft’s components, inspections, AD’s and snags. Also, you can create Status Reports, Weight & Balance Reports, Work Reports and more. Aircraft Main Window

You are now in the Component Manager. By default, some components are added to the aircraft on creation. Click on this button to add new components to your aircraft. Component Manager

Fill out the component information. Here, you can enter the component’s tracking information. The text entered here will be inserted by default in the work report “correction field” each time this maintenance action is added to a work report. You can group components together. You can create component assembly. Component Manager

You can also add general maintenance tasks. Then, you can enter all its tracking information. Component Manager

Now, click on Component Manager and select Meters. This section will allow you to create additional meters for components affected by hobb meter time. Meters

From this window, you can create new meters or you can delete existing ones. Click on this button to add a new action to the meter. In this window, you can edit the selected meter’s information. Meters

Once a new action is created, you can enter all the necessary tracking information in these fields. When all the needed information has been entered, click on the Close button. Meters

Back in the Aircraft Main Window, click on the Inspection Schedule button. Inspection Schedule

From this window, you can track all your inspections, corresponding tasks, references, etc. with great ease. Due inspections are shown in red and inspections in warning are shown in yellow. Manual next due are very useful when you have performed an inspection within the tolerance and you need to go back to the normal calculated parameters. Inspection Schedule

When you click on Preview, this report containing all the aircraft’s inspections will be generated. Inspection List

We are now going to enter the AD Manager section. Click on the ADs Manager button. AD Manager

In this window, you can keep a follow up of ADs, SBs, SLs, etc. This is the list of once ADs, SBs, SLs, etc. This is the list of recurring ADs, SBs, SLs, etc. To manually add new ADs, click on this button. If you wish to print an AD Compliance Record, click on this button. AD Manager

When you have finished filling out the information, click on Go Back. Here, you can enter all the necessary information about the new AD. AD Manager

The report will show the aircraft’s basic information. A list of all your once and recurring ADs will be displayed. AD Manager

This powerful software comes in addition to the regular AD Manager. It automatically searches for new ADs on the Transport Canada Website. Click on this button to automatically search for new ADs for the selected aircraft directly on the Transport Canada Website. AD tracker (For TC ADs only)

New ADs are displayed in this list. To add an AD to the aircraft, drag it to the Once or Recur list. AD tracker (For TC ADs only)

We will now enter the Weight & Balance section. Click on Weight and Balance and select Create a weight and balance report. Weight & Balance

Fill out all the necessary information about this aircraft. When you have finished entering the aircraft information, click on the Weighing Record tab. Weight & Balance

Fill fields with proper information. Here, you can add items that you want to be removed from the empty weight. Here, you can add items that you want to be added to the empty weight. Weight & Balance

In this window, you can create additional configurations for the aircraft. Weight & Balance

We will now look at the Snags section. Snags

All the snags listed here will appear on the next work report. Pilot Reported Defects

In the Recurring Snags Folder, you can see all the aircraft’s snags. Click on the Statistics tab to view a diagram of the snags sorted by ATA code. This diagram makes it easy to see what type of snags occur more often. Recurring Snags

This snags report comes from the recurring snags folder. Only this example is shown but a similar report can be generated for all types of snags. Recurring Snags

All snags that were differed in the work report are listed here. They will be automatically added to the next work report. You can also manually add snags to the list. Deferred Defects

The Note Folder works in the same way Deferred Snags do. Notes displayed in this list will be included in the next work report. Notes are very useful if you wish to have a reminder about a task on the next work report. Note Folder

We will now enter the most important section of Aircraft Maintenance Manager : the Work Report Manager. Click on the Work Report Manager button. Work Report Manager

To automatically create Work Orders from due components, ADs, inspections and differed snags, click on New then select the first option. You can also create blank work orders and work orders from a template Work Report Manager

When creating a new work order, you can choose to simultaneously create an Invoice or an Operation Cost in Inventory Manager. Work Report Manager

You can add empty rows to the work report in case a mechanic finds snags. With this button you can create printable job cards. Work Report Manager

The mechanics can enter the corrections done for this job and then sign as a proof of completion. Here, you have the task number and its description. This is the information about the work report and its related aircraft. Work Report Example

Job cards are separately made for each work report item. Each mechanic can enter the correction done and then return the job card when the work is done. Work Report Manager/ Job Card Example

Click on this button if you wish to attach an image to the work report. You can scan a document or import one from a file. For example, a customer authorization or a STC. Work Report Manager

Click on this button to create a Major Modification/Repair forms from the work report items. After the corresponding job is done, the mechanics can fill the correction section. Work Report Manager

By default, all the work report items will be in the list but you can only keep the relevant one’s. Click on this button to add the Major Repair or Major Modification to the work report. This is the report that will be added (Canadian Release). FAA form also available Work Report Manager/ Major Repair and Modification Report Example

Click on this button to create Logbook entries form the Work Report. Work Report Manager

First, fill out the necessary information about the logbook entries. By default, all the work report items will be imported in the form. You can remove unwanted items. Click on this button to remove the items you don’t want to be included in the logbook entry. Once you are done, click on this button to add this logbook entry to the work report. This is an example of Logbook entries added to a work report. Logbooks Entry Example

Click this button to update the system after the job is completed. Each type of work report item (AD, Component, Inspection or Snag) has a different update module. You can select Toggle all update to show the update module for all the work report items. Or you can click on this button to bring the update module for a single item. Work Report Manager

To update a work report item to the current Hours, Cycles and Calendar, simply click on the Update button. If a component has been replaced, enter the new one’s information, then click on Update and the used item will be automatically sent to Inventory Manager’s quarantine. Work Report Manager

Click on this button to consult an electronic Logbook. eLogBook entries are entered when you create logbook entries in the Work Report. The eLogBook serves as an electronic copy of the paper logbook. Electronic Logbook ( elogBook)

In the Aircraft Main Menu, click on the Forecast List button to generate a printable document containing all elements in due or warning state. Forecast List

In the Status Report section, you can generate a complete or a summary list of the aircraft’s components, ADs, snags and inspections. Aircraft Status Report

In the Aircraft Main Menu, click on Aircraft Documents. The Local Aircraft Documents opens a folder created on your hard drive. Now, click on Remote Aircraft Documents. Aircraft Documents

 Each aircraft has its own Remote Aircraft Documents section on the server.  Any document added to this section becomes available to any user who has access to this aircraft. All automatically generated documents are saved in this section (Work reports, Weight & Balance reports). You can create folders to include any electronic documents. Remote Aircraft Documents

Now, let’s have a look at the History section. Click on the History button. History

All history records regarding ADs, Components, Inspections and Tasks are kept here. Then, if you need more information or you need to trace a component, you can easily find what you are looking for in the history. History

By default, all history records regarding the aircraft are shown in the list. Using these tools, you can refine and narrow the displayed records to find what you are looking for. You can print the results. History

Additional Modules  Air Keeper module allows a constant display of problematic aircraft directly on the Windows Desktop.  Electronic Signature is a module used to electronically sign off on tasks. It eliminates the need to print reports for certification. This function is extremely secure due to the fact that every action is recorded and encrypted.

 Component Work Report and Manufacturing Work Report modules are used to create work orders that cover the overhaul, components repair and components/aircraft manufacturing. It also allows a direct link to Inventory Manager. Additional Modules

 The Time Manager module is a great system to track employee time on a specific task. It helps to know how many hours an employee has spent on a task, to track the clock in and clock out and the weekly time.  The Mobile Inventory module is used to scan all parts and then to synchronize the quantities with your current inventory. Doing an inventory count has never been so easy! Additional Modules

 The AMMRR module is used to consult your AMM reports and update aircraft time from anywhere in the world as if you were in your office. Additional Modules

Inventory Manager Advanced is a powerful inventory managing software. Create estimates, quotations, purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, operation costs, in a few clicks. Keep track of your parts via an history system. Tightly linked with Aircraft Maintenance Manager, Inventory Manager makes it easy to update your component replacements in a few clicks. The main menu allows you to quickly access all sections of the software. Let’s begin with the Customer Consultation section. Then we’ll see the Supplier Consultation section. Inventory Main Menu

All your customer information is displayed here. Easily Add, Edit or Remove a customer with these three buttons. Click on this button to generate a list of customers in a printable format. Customer Consultation

Customer/Supplier Consultation

In the Main Menu, click on the Quotation Manager button. We will create a new quotation. Select Quotation Creation. Quotation Manager

First, choose the suppliers to which you want to send a quotation to. Then, to add parts to this newly created quotation, click on Add Part. The Part Selection window will appear. Once all the needed parts are added, click on Continue. Quotation Creation

This window will be referred to at many occasions during the Inventory Manager demonstration. From here, you can select the part you wish for the operation you are currently performing. When you have found what you are looking for, enter the quantity and click on OK. A brown row represents a part and a green row represents a piece of equipment. Part/Item Selection

This window will appear for each supplier you choose. Choose to print, or fax quotation. Once you are done, click on the Continue button. The quotation will be added to the quotation list. Quotation Creation

When a quotation is created, you can still edit it in the Quotation Consultation. You can still Preview, or Fax the quotation. You can modify the quotation’s parts. Quotation Edition

We are now going to create a new purchase order. Click on Purchase Order Creation. Purchase Order Manager

First, fill out the purchase order information. Then, click on this button to add parts to the purchase order. The part selection window will appear. You can print, or fax this PO. Purchase Order Creation To quickly add parts to this purchase order, you can import the parts from a Quotation, a to Order list or a Picking List.

When an order has been received, click on Order reception. Purchase Order Manager

Double click on the received purchase order. It will open the purchase order reception window. Purchase Order Reception

To receive a part, double click on it. This window will appear. Enter the right quantities and click on Save. Purchase Order Reception

You will be asked to insert a Release Note Number. Click on OK Then, click on Next. Purchase Order Reception

A tracking number has been attributed by the system. Click Print Label button to have a bar code label printed to identify the part in your store. Purchase Order Reception

Back to the main menu, click on the Packing Slip Manager and select Packing Slip Creation. Packing Slip Manager

First, you must choose a packing slip type. Then, choose a supplier from this list. You can create a Packing Slip to send components for repair, overhaul, etc. or if you borrowed some parts or tools. Packing Slip Creation

You can choose the wanted freight company for the return of the part(s). Click on this button to add items to the packing slip. Packing Slip Creation

Now, we will have a look at the Inventory Manager section. We will begin with the Inventory Consultation. Inventory Manager

This is the corresponding items to the selected P/N This list shows the search categories in the inventory. You can print your search in 3 different formats and print an inventory check list Inventory Consultation This is the list of all the P/N present in your system.

This window has the same functionalities as the Inventory Consultation window but the Parts displayed are only the company’s equipment. Equipment Consultation

In this window, you have the quarantine list. This is the perfect link between Aircraft Maintenance Manager and Inventory Manager. When you replace a component in AMM, the removed component is transferred to this list. Later, it will be possible to send it back to the shelf or to create a packing slip to send it for repair or overhaul. You can also click on this button to manually add a component in the quarantine. The part/ item selection window will appear. Quarantine

Click on this button to remove the selected item from quarantine. This window will appear. You can send a quarantined item back to the inventory, to the scrap container, create a core with it or delete it from the system. Quarantine

When a part reaches its minimum quantity, it automatically appears in this list. In this window, all the parts that need to be ordered are shown in this list. Click on this button to manually add items to this list. Requisition List

We will now create an Estimate. Click on Estimation Manager then select Estimation Creation. Estimation Manager

First, you will have to choose a customer. This window will appear. You will need to choose the customer’s aircraft. Estimation Creation

You can also add miscellaneous to the estimate by clicking on this button. Click on this button to add labour to this estimate. Click on this button to add items to the estimate. Print, or fax estimate. Estimation Creation

We will now have a look at the Invoicing Manager and Operating Cost Manager Invoice and Operation Cost are the same. The only difference is: parts are charged at retail price on invoice and at cost price on operation cost. We will use an invoice as an example but everything also applies to operation cost. Click on this button to create a new invoice. Two types of invoices exist in Inventory Manager : normal invoices (created in Inventory Manager) and work order invoices (created in Aircraft Maintenance Manager). Both will be explained, starting with normal invoices. Invoice & Operation Cost Consultation

You will be asked to choose a customer. This window will appear. You will need to choose the customer’s aircraft. Invoice & Operation Cost Creation

You are now in the Invoice Creation window. It has the same functionalities as the Estimate Creation window and additional ones. You can also add miscellaneous to the estimate by clicking on this button. Click on this button to add labour to this estimate. Click on this button to add items to the invoice. If you need to create a Form for this invoice, click on this button. Invoice & Operation Cost Creation

This window will appear. Click on this button to add items from the invoice to this form A default remark is inserted but you can modify or delete it. Select the right certification. Select the License No., Date and Certificate/Approval No. When filled out, click on Continue to generate Form The document will be saved in the Form section for further consultation. Form Creation

To link parts to a specific work report item, simply select the item and click on the Add button, the added parts will be linked with the invoice/op. cost and the corresponding work report item. Also, labour and misc. items can be linked with the work report item. Invoice & Operation Cost Creation W.O. Invoice or W.O. Operation Cost are created at this step of the work report creation.

The Part History is one of the most important section of Inventory Manager. It is where you can have a complete tracking of any item. Part History

In this list, every creation, movement or modification of an item is recorded in an history entry. Part History

Then write your search query in this field. Multiple search fields are available to find history entries. Select a search field. Part History

Enter the part number you are looking for (we are using the part number to search in this example). The search results will be displayed in this list. Part History

Inventory Manager handles cores (exchange parts) but it will not be explained in depth in this demonstration. In the Core Manager section, you can see all the cores present in the system. In the Form section, you can consult all the Forms you created either from an Invoice or an Operation Cost. Inventory Manager

Included with all AMS products. Quickly add/delete or manage users. Allows users to connect from any computer in the world. Customizes applications available for each user. User name and password authentication for each user. Account Manager
