SCIENCE Research projects Research projects in Poland are mainly founded by two agencies: The National Science Centre (NCN) - is a government executive agency set up to fund basic research, The National Centre for Research and Development - the tasks of the National Centre for Research and Development, are the support of commercialization and other forms of transfer of scientific research results, the management of applied research programs and the performance of national security and defense projects. In researchers of Jan Kochanowski University implemented 21 research projects, which were founded by NCN, 4 were founded by Ministry of Science and Higher Education and 1 research project was founded by Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
