TagMaster’s Access Applications WiseMan Stand-alone system ID-tag database in reader Reader makes decisions and controls the gate WatchMan Reader connected to external system via RS232/RS485 (ConfiTalk polling protocol) ID-tag database in external system External system makes decisions and tells the reader when to open the gate PassMan Reader connected to existing access control system via Wiegand/Mag-stripe interface ID-tag database in access control system Access control system makes decisions and opens the gate

”No Application” or ”Your Own Application” Inputs Outputs Relay Wiegand Mag-stripe Indicator Buzzer Tamper switches The reader can always be controlled via TagMaster’s TAGP protocol over TCP/IP. This does not require WiseMan, WatchMan or PassMan Using TagMaster’s Software Development Kit (SDK) it is possible to develop your own reader-hosted application. Ethernet Inputs Outputs Relay Wiegand Mag-stripe Indicator Buzzer Tamper switches Ethernet RS232 RS485 USB microSD

Why use TagMaster’s Applications? These software applications have been developed by TagMaster over the years to fit various well known types of installations. They are backwards compatible with previous generation readers from TagMaster (GEN3). The software applications are in fact created using TagMaster’s SDK. There are no limiting factors for an integrator to do such an implementation. However, the convenience of having years of knowledge already put into an application is obviously significant. GEN4 SDK – Running in a Linux Virtual Machine

WatchMan

WatchMan Reader connected to external system via RS232/RS485 (ConfiTalk) ID-tag database in external system External system makes decisions and tells the reader to open the gate

WatchMan WatchMan functional overview

WatchMan Functional inputs: Functional outputs ID-tag Inputs (3) Moving objects Info from host Functional outputs Relay Outputs (2) Buzzer LED Info to host Host controller installation using WatchMan

WatchMan - Saccess32 Saccess32 can be used to communicate with a WatchMan reader Connect a PC COM port to the readers RS232 port Press the WatchMan button when starting Saccess32

PassMan

PassMan Reader connected to existing access control system via Wiegand / Mag-stripe / serial interface ID-tag database in access control system Access control system makes decisions and opens the gate

PassMan PassMan functional overview, Access Control PassMan functional overview, Host application

PassMan Functional inputs: Functional outputs ID-tag Loop trigger Moving objects (Info from host) Functional outputs Info to access control system Relay Buzzer LED (Info to host) A typical installation using PassMan is an extension of an existing access control system

PassMan Access Control System Communication Host communication: Wiegand Mag-stripe Serial (RS232, 2-wire RS485) Host communication: Configuration can be done using Web interface (TCP/IP) Terminal interface (Service port) PassMan terminal interface (RS232/RS485)
