18 July 2015GSC-8, OTTAWASlide 2 Optical Transport Networks T1X1 addresses: –Optical Transport Networks (OTN) –Synchronous Optical Networks (SONET) SONET standards are in a mature state, efforts this past year focused on incorporation of Virtual Concatenation and Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme (LCAS) for Virtual Concatenated Signals into the existing T1 and ITU-T standards. A major focus of the work efforts in 2002 was the submission of contributions to Recommendations being developed in ITU-T Study Group 15 Digital Hierarchies
