9/20/05South Coast AQMD2 IES Romoland Pyrolysis System Permit Applied for permit with SCAQMD in January 2005 to conduct trial burn on post-recycle MSW. SCAQMD issued a temporary Research Permit in March 2005 to allow for a limited operation to conduct source tests. Permit Summary/Status: –Allowed a maximum of 32 tons/day of MSW for up to 18 days of operation –Required source testing for criteria and toxic pollutants –Source tests completed in June/July 2005 at 1.25 tons/hr and report submitted in August 2005 –Source test report is presently under review and results are only considered preliminary
