Task In your groups “Brainstorm” using the A3 paper the various Topics that you have studied in KS2 that you think were to do with geography. Also add to your paper as many Geography Key Words that you can remember. Complete the sentence Geography is …….. So what exactly is Geography?

Here are some suggestions:  Geography is the study of the world  Geography is about people and places  Geography is about the physical (natural) and human (man made) environment in which we live. Copy one of these meanings into your book then add below it one the one you chose as a group

Task Now classify the key geography words you had on your A3 paper into 3 groups. Circle in Red words that you think are to do with physical geography Circle the words in Blue words that are to do with human geography Circle in Green words that are to do with the environment (both physical and human)
