FY 13 and FY 14 Procurement Opportunities

Mr. Scott Cook Small Business Specialist (505)

 FY11 small business dollars represented 62% of all AFNWC obligations.  Our FY12 goal is to better that figure.  Air Force leadership now has the attainment of the small business goal as part of their annual performance evaluations.  We are examining existing contracts with large businesses to see if they can be “broken out” to involve small businesses as prime contractors.  All of AF is subject to the Small Business Improvement Plan, published by the AF SB office in DC, to better our performance in reaching out to and awarding contracts to small businesses.
