Vaisala radiosonde RS-80 uses single Humicap A-polymer or H-polymer (used at FMI)

Vaisala RS-90 sonde has dual H-polymer humicap switching sequentially between heating(=de-icing) and measuring cycles ( at FMI). FN-sonde of Lindenberg Observatory, Germany, uses slightly modified Vaisala RS-90 and Lindenberg’s own calibration/calculation method

Vaisala radiosonde RS-92 (2005 –> at FMI). Humicap-H unit in the sensorboom is the same as in RS-90. Developments in sensor technology, in ground preparation of Humicap, calibration and computation procedures of Humicap, and code correlating GPS Wind finding. All digital.
