B2 Casting Measurement Comparison The Verisurf data from MTM and the Romer Arm data from PPL were both filtered thru a common sorting program (sortdata2.f) to make sure we comparing similar point locations Point xyz coordinates were mapped to a “curvalinear” coordinate system tied to the B coil geometry: –X is radial distance (ie normal to base, +toward plasma) from the ideal current center –Y is lateral distance (ie normal to septum, + toward A side) –Z is the poloidal location (0 to 1) along coil winding center curve Clamp locations are identified in ProE by this parametric number
