Pudukkottai Unit To meet the ongoing industrial demands, CPC has started running a new modern foundry unit at Pudukkottai to produce 6, 000 MT of castings per annum With an future enhancement of additional melting capacity, our Pudukottai unit is all set to produce 16, 000 MT of castings per annum It is easily accessible by road, rail, air. It is 250 Km from Coimbatore unit & 40 Km from Trichy airport

Sales Since inception, CPC ‘s record of high quality and better customer service resulted in rapid growth of its business We have supplied 9,600 MT of castings per annum, out of which 6,000 MT of castings are supplied in machined condition With an export business of Rs.400 Millions to several well reputed OEM’s across the globe including Europe, America, Australia, Canada, North Africa and Far East, our company's yearly turnover has reached over Rs. 600 Millions With the addition of our Pudukottai Foundry the capacity is likely to reach 16,000 tonnes by the year 2010 and the turn over is likely to reach Rs.1 Billion.

Pattern Shop Our well-equipped in-house pattern shop fortified with latest equipments aid us to manufacture any complex shape of castings that meets the customer’s requirements The patterns are made using core compounds including Wood, Aluminium, Araldite, Cast Iron and Gun Metal The pattern equipments are maintained in good condition and stored in shelves with specific identification Part of the operations are outsourced Software used in pattern development are solid modeling – Pro E, thermal analysis – Magma

Moulding & Sand Plant – Coimbatore Unit A modern & well-laid out sand plant of 30 tonnes per hour capacity with magnetic separator; on-line aerator and Kuttner sand cooling plant coupled with 2 nos each of 500 kg batch capacity High Speed Mixer High Speed Intensive Mixer ensures uninterrupted supply of quality sand to the moulding lines Mechanical handling of the boxes, closing of the boxes with mould closing unit and pallet car track with pneumatic pushers eliminates human errors and ensures accurate and quality moulds

Paint Shop Our well equipped conveyerised paint shop with heating system can ensure good quality of primer painting of any colour as specified by the customer

Packing Our packing section is well equipped with facilities to do packing as per customers requirement

Machine Shop – Unit I Fortified with a wide range of machines, the machine shop can undertake proof machining or full machining of the castings to the specified dimensional tolerances Excellent Hydro Testing facility and sub-assembly operational facilities are the cornerstones of our machine shop A standards room is available to calibrate all the gauges and instruments used in the operations

Machine Shop – Unit II After the completion of machining process, the machined parts are forwarded to our in-house conveyerised paint shop where they undergo a primer painting with heating system of any colour as specified by the customer. Finally the machined parts are well packed in our in-house packing section fortified with necessary amenities and are kept ready for dispatch.

Laboratory Our testing laboratory consists of various testing equipments and components to deliver high quality products to the fullest satisfaction of our customers which in turn will provide opportunities for repeat business and also for building long-term relationship with our clients. Some of our testing equipments include: Bruker Quantron Q6- Columbus 20 Elements Spectral Analyser, 40 Ton UTM BHN Tester Wet Analysis Lab Sand Lab Trimos -for verifying all the gauges for their tolerances Profile Projector Sylvac - for checking the dial gauges and verniers.
