3 Current OLDI (Edition 4.1)  Equipment capability and status in Basic messages (ABI, ACT, etc.) RVSM- letter W 8.33 KHZ/UHF- Letters Y/U Mode S - Letters S and I B-RNAV/PRNAV- Letters R and P  Fix (three letters) for reference point for range and bearing

5 System changes 1.Neighbours’ plans will impact system changes Depending on level of implementation and dates for migration a translation function might be required 2.Local operational concept will have an impact (e.g. use of RNAV information for route allocation) 3.Transition will be managed at local level and should be planned and co-ordinated with neighbours as early as possible
