How to Dissect an Owl Pellet By John W. and Jehnsen

Yuck! I bet you think dissecting an owl pellet is gross! But its not - its is cool.

Materials owl pellet {you might look at a farm or at an old barn} a tooth pick tweezers an old plate or napkin.

Step1 First, you get an old plate or napkin and set the owl pellet on the plate or napkin.

Step 2 Then you carefully break the owl pellet in half. Be careful not to break any bones.

Step 3 Finally, you take the bones out of the owl pellet and set them on the paper towel or plate.

Wow! Look at those bones! Put them together and you’ll get a skeleton of an animal that was eaten by an owl.

Conclusion Look at the beautiful skeleton you found!
