Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl Modified by Heather Dvoskin charlie_and_the_chocolate_factory_2.jpg

Willy Wonka is going to open his factory to five children. The children who find a golden ticket in a candy bar will get to go in the factory.

Charlie Bucket is one of the children who finds a golden ticket. He and his Grandpa Joe go to the factory px-GrandpaJoe1971.jpg

The other children who find golden tickets are Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, and Mike Teavee. Augustus_Gloop Violet_Beauregarde

When the children get to the factory they meet Willy Wonka and the Oompa Loompas.

Willy Wonka shows the children the Chocolate Room. The Chocolate Room has a giant river made of chocolate.

Augustus Gloop is greedy and drinks the chocolate from the river. He falls in the river and gets sucked into one of the tubes.

Willy Wonka shows the children gum that tastes like a whole meal. Violet Beauregarde steals the gum and chews it. She turns into a blueberry! ttp:// students/banda/Wonka/willmoviepic19.jpg

Willy Wonka shows the children the Nut Room, which is full of squirrels. Veruca Salt tries to take one of the squirrels. The squirrels carry her away and throw her in the trash.

Willy Wonka shows the children the Television Chocolate. Mike Teavee doesn’t listen and tries to get sent to the television. He gets shrunk and is very small.

Charlie is the only child left. He was the only good child in the group. Because he was a good boy, Willy Wonka gives him the chocolate factory!
