Discuss Was it hard to find people to fit the descriptors? If so, which? How many people… – Know what a reference is? – Have work experience? – Participate in extracurricular activities? – Volunteer? – Can identify his/her strengths and skills?

Pre-Test What is the purpose of a resume? What are three sections that may be found on a resume? What are 2 strengths or skills you can include on your resume?

Strengths and Skills Reflection Before completing a resume, it’s important to start thinking about the skills and strengths you want to highlight on your own resume. – They will come through in the various parts of the resume. Complete the Strengths and Skills Reflection in Family Connection or on paper – Use your postsecondary plan for ideas
