Service Learning 75 hours of service which includes planning, action, and reflection. Most HCPSS students complete service learning in middle school.

Teacher makes course recommendation Student takes course request form home Parent reviews, signs, and returns Course request form Middle school counselor reviews and forwards to high school

Parent Role 1. Talk with your child about goals for the next four years. 2. Review course recommendations and make the best decision with your child. 3. Encourage your child to take the most rigorous courses while enjoying other aspects of high school.

Each student takes seven courses per year. Five 50-minute everyday classes. One 85- minute every other day class during period 4. The High School Schedule
