Football. Football is one of the most popular sports in Poland. Ski jumping. Polish Ski Jumping Representation- a group of previously selected ski jumpers chosen to represent Poland in international ski competitions.

Ice skating. Ice skating- winter sport discipline concerning combining different elements and performing them on ice rink: dance, jumpings and other various complicated figures. Because of great similarity to artistic gymnastics, ice skating demands good dancing skills, fit body and rythm coordination.

Athletics. It is the main olympic discipline mainly based on natural forms of movement: walking, running, jumping, throwing. Athletics began in Poland in the last years of XIX century owing to Gymnastics Association SOKÓŁ. Then this kind of sport was spread by such clubs as: POGOŃ LWÓW, CRACOVIA and WISŁA KRAKÓW. In 1919 Polish Athletics Association was established.

Kayaking. This discipline is divided into: classic canoeing, mountanous, polo-kayaking and kayak-sailing. The man responsible for introducing kayaking into Polish tourism was Zygmunt Gloger who in 1872 made trips on rivers: Wisła, Bug and Biebrza.

Sum Up. My presentation only partly describes sport in Poland as I rather focused my attention to the most popular ones. In conclusion I think that the condition of Polish sport, although not too impressive, is not so bad. It is mainly connected with poor amounts of money which spent by our state differently,could completely change the situation for better.
