Observing Freshwater Snails Observe, draw, and describe

Adding the snail to the same home as the water plants. Notice they are coexisting.

Observe a male guppy

Observe a female guppy

Observing guppies … Observe, draw, and describe a male and a female guppy.

Comparing the snail and the guppy… What do they both do? How are they different?

Introducing … Woodland Animals

A woodland environment … A mushroom has appeared from nowhere!

Woodland Animals Pill bugs arrive in a container with paper toweling.

Observing pill bugs … on a thin layer of moist soil,with one green leaf or piece of lettuce in a cup. Cover cup.

Observing a pill bug …

Observing pill bug … with a hand lens and a partner

Gently touch the pill bug. See what happens when the children touch the pill bug.
