WebStat™ Programming and Configuration of Thermostats

WebStat Programming/Configuration Login using a Contractor level user ID and password

WebStat Programming/Configuration From the Overview screen, click on the “Thermostats” tab

Thermostat Discovery Thermostats already on the network will show up Click the “Discover” Button to discover new thermostats - If there are any existing thermostats, you’ll see a warning stating that any devices with subnet/node conflicts will be re- commissioned.

Thermostat Discovery A status window will appear When complete, the Thermostats screen will appear with all of the discovered thermostats

WebStat Programming/Configuration Discovered thermostats are listed and a status of “Online” shows for all discovered thermostats The “Last Updated” column will read “Download Pending” Click on the “Edit” button of a thermostat to begin configuration

WebStat Programming/Configuration WebStat uses a wizard to configure the thermostats so it is not necessary to interface directly with the thermostat All configuration parameters are chosen from a list of pull down menus in 7 different screens - Properties - Inputs - Cooling Configuration - Heating Configuration - Outputs - Setpoints - Dehumidification WebStat also provides customized wiring diagrams for every thermostat configured

Properties Thermostat name - Add a meaningful thermostat name Choose the model - T7350H1009 for staged and T7350H1017 for modulating Equipment type - Conventional or Heat Pump Neuron ID - Already filled in via the auto discovery Keypad lockout - Choose to lockout keys on the thermostat System mode - Auto, Off, Cool or Heat Fan Switch - On or Auto Override duration - Choose from 1 to 8 hours for the override duration Transformers - Use only for wiring diagram purposes

Inputs Room temperature input - Choose local to use the on board sensor, select from different remote sensors or choose to network to get temperature from another T7350  If a remote sensor is selected, choose the number of remote sensors if averaging is desired and a wiring diagram will be created detailing the correct wiring for sensors Relative humidity input - Choose local for the on board sensor, remote for a remote sensor or network to get relative humidity from another T7350 Outdoor temperature input - Choose remote if an outdoor air sensor is connected to this thermostat, or choose network if another T7350 has the outdoor air sensor Occupancy sensor input - Choose none, remote or network for an occupancy sensor Discharge air temperature input - Choose none or remote

Cooling Configuration Stages required - Choose 1 to 4 stages of cooling  To choose 4 stages of cooling, heating stages must be set to 2 or fewer Extended fan - You may extend the fan run time after the compressor shuts down by 40 seconds if desired Cycle rate - Choose 3 or 4 cycles per hour (cph) Advanced settings - Cooling OAT lockout  Pick an outdoor temperature at which to lock out cooling - Cooling DAT lockout  Pick a discharge air temperature at which to begin shutting down stages of cooling

Heating Configuration Stages required - Choose 1 to 3 stages of heating  If 4 stages of cooling has been chosen, only 2 stages of heat are available Fan operation - Choose ON With Heat to turn the fan on immediately with a call for heat - Choose OFF With Heat to let the equipment turn on the fan Extended fan - You may extend the fan run time after the heat shuts down by 90 seconds if desired Cycle rate - Choose 3, 6, 9 or 20 cycles per hour (cph) Advanced settings - Heating OAT lockout  Pick an outdoor temperature at which to lock out heating - Heating DAT lockout  Pick a discharge air temperature at which to begin shutting down stages of heating

Outputs Auxiliary output logic - Time of Day (TOD)  Output will energize during Occupied and de-energize during Unoccupied - Economizer  Same as TOD but will energize during Unoccupied on a call for cooling - Simple Dehumid  Output will close whenever humidity is higher than the high limit There is a 5 minuet minimum on timer and a 5% hysteresis for dehumidification - Hot Gas Bypass  Same as simple dehumid, but will not energize if a stage of cooling is on Reversing valve - Only for heat pumps, choose active on heating or cooling Advanced - Gives access to the PID control loop  Strongly recommended that these settings not be changed

Setpoints Choose setpoints for Occupied, Unoccupied and Standby - There is a minimum deadband of 2°F - The heating setpoint must be lower than the cooling setpoint Advanced - Maximum and minimum stops can be set for heating and cooling setpoints - Recovery ramp rates for heating and cooling are set

Dehumidification Dehumidification high limit - This high limit may be changed via the keypad as well Minimum on time - Choose a minimum run time for the compressor when the humidity is above the high limit Reheat - When humidity is above the high limit, the first stage of heating and cooling will run at the same time Reset temperature setpoint - Choose to lower the cooling setpoint when humidity is above the high limit

Wiring A list of terminal designations is provided Click on View Wiring to see a wiring diagram Click on View Sensor to see a sensor wiring diagram - Only shown for thermostats with sensor averaging

Wiring Custom wiring diagrams for each thermostat configured Subbase wiring Remote sensor averaging wiring

Wiring Clicking the “Finish” button will bring you back to the Thermostats page Click on the “Schedules” tab to begin creating schedules

Schedules Existing Schedules will show in the left column Click on “New Schedule” to create a new schedule

Schedules Type a name for the new schedule Schedule events by clicking on endpoints and stretching or shrinking the event To shift events, hold down on the Shift key and drag

Schedules To change the type of event, click on the event and then choose Occupied, Unoccupied or Standby To delete an event, click on the event and click “Delete Event”

Special Events Choose a name for the new holiday Choose Date, Date Range or Day and Week Select the date(s) and choose Occupied or Unoccupied as well as a start and end time of day for the event

Special Events Click the “Assign Thermostats” tab to assign thermostats to the newly created schedule Highlight the thermostat(s) and click the right arrow button to assign the thermostat to the schedule

Schedules Assigned thermostats will now show on the schedules tab
