Miss Dixon’s Special Mentions this week are for… Samuel, Lacey, Hollie and Faith!

Samuel can continue a repeating pattern! Can you see where Samuel has used his phonic skills to have a go at a word? Samuel’s scissor skills are improving. Look at his cut and stick astronaut!. Samuel’s Planet Pizza shopping list. Samuel is really working hard at school. His behaviour in the playground has also improved. Good Boy! Samuel can measure alien underpants with cubes and record his answer in a table all on his own! On Wednesday Samuel weighed moon rock!

Mine’s up and that’s down. Put this rock in, it’s really big. Down! Now this side. It’s bouncing! (balancing) Balancing! Now this stone. This is the heaviest. Miss Dixon…it’s balancing! It’s glittery! Let me feel. It’s big! It’s blancing (balancing). This one’s heavy. Feel Hollie. Look…see- saw, see-saw, see-saw! Hollie, Lacey and Faith talked about the ‘moon rocks’ as they used the balance scales. They had a go at using new words such as ‘balancing’. Can you see them finding out and exploring? They were fully involved in their task and concentrating. They were excited when they found rocks that balanced. Weighing Moon Rock!
