Last year the Cypress Creek Athletic Booster Club invested over $100,000 in our Student-Athletes and Coaches in the following sports … Girls SportsBoys Sports Basketball Cross Country Golf Soccer Baseball Track Swimming Tennis WrestlingFootball Wrestling CY-Creek Athletic Booster Club

A few weeks ago I received this from a parent interested in becoming one of our sports liaisons … “Last year this question came up, "What does the booster club do for the ________ team?" Unfortunately the thought is that the booster club spends the majority of money on football so other sports are left out and the parents don't want to contribute to the booster club. Helps Cypress Creek Coaches become more successful by sending them for Advanced Coaching Seminars at Colleges and State and National Coaches seminars. CCABC Helps maintain High Level of Creek’s athletic program

CCABC pays meet and tournament fees as well as tournament hosting expenses so our athletes can compete in the following sports: Basketball Cross Country Golf Soccer Baseball Softball Track Tennis Volleyball Wrestling Lady Cougars Basketball at the McDonald’s Texas Invitational place Third! We purchase items that help the sports programs Tractor and mowers for field maintenance Scissor lift for taping of practices and events PA and music system for outdoor events Video and camera equipment coaches use Upgrade of concession areas and their equipment--inside and out Athletic Dept. improvements Cougar Banners and Signage Trophy Case in School and so much more…

YEARLY LARGE PROJECT We also try to focus on a large project each year that will help all sports. With Creek’s renovations, the Athletic Dept. was going to need additional equipment and upgrades to their department. Trainers’ Dept. and the Weight Room were areas determined in immediate need. Both are available to all sports. These areas provide medical attention, weight training, therapy and conditioning for all athletes. Trainers Dept. Equipment - over $15,000 Weight Room Equipment - over $120,000 in the last two years

Video System that coaches use to review games and practices. It also helps assist students providing video for athletic Scholarship opportunities – $60,000+

Goals for 2011/2012 Upgrades to the indoor/outdoor concessions Upgrades to girls softball area Upgrades to track and field area and Press Box Purchase and construction of sign on Perry Road for sports information Depending on how much we raise we can add to our large project goals each year!

CCABC Scholarships The last two years, CCABC has proudly presented a total of four scholarships to Athletic Booster Club Members. Ways to SUPPORT CCABC Membership Join CCABC every year your athlete participates in a sport Fundraiser Participation Cy-Creek Charity Golf Tournament, Value Card Sales, Cookie Dough Sales, Fall & Spring Cougar Day, Purchasing Spirit Items and enjoying the various offerings at our Cougar Concession Stands Media Guide/Program Ad Sales If you own a business, consider advertising. You could also reach out to your employer, business you frequent often, your car insurance office or even the dealer where you purchased your car… Ask--you never know! Volunteer By volunteering your time you can make a lot of difference! CCABC raises a lot of money through spirit item sales and concession stand sales. Membership is tax deductible and can make a huge difference for our outstanding athletic program at Cy-Creek!
