Don Juan, a Spanish nobleman, sets off in search of new romantic adventures.

He spies a young woman across the room.

He bows.

The woman turns, revealing a less than captivating face.

Don Juan reluctantly approaches her.

He impatiently tears himself from the affair.

A new potential conquest catches his eye.

He is spellbound by her beauty.

The two exchange amorous advances.

Don Juan grows restless.

His mistress attempts to fulfill his dreams of love.

He leaves her in search of further adventures.

Don Juan yearns for a new love.

She breathlessly spurns his advances.

He continues to pursue her.

She succumbs to him.

He becomes restless and impetuously decides to flee.

She clings to him desperately.

He abandons her and seeks further adventures.

Don Juan arrives disguised at a masked ball.

There is a wild frenzy.

Don Juan is hotly pursued by a nobleman seeking revenge.

He escapes his pursuer and collapses.

He is depressed, unhappy with his lot in life.

The ghosts of his former mistresses haunt him.

Don Juan gathers strength for the final duel with his pursuer.
