Peanut’s Day Alone By Alyssa Brown

Today, Peanut, the gecko, was spending her first day alone. Her owner was going to school. Peanut was very nervous.

First Peanut climbed one of the decorations in her tank. She got up very high. It was very exciting.

Then she leaped off of the high decoration and landed in her water dish and splashed around for hours.

Peanut got very wet and cold. Sluggishly, she walked over to her hideout where her heat pad was. She warmed her belly and napped until she felt energized again.

When Peanut woke up her owner still wasn’t home. She was very lonely. She decided to climb the glass of her tank to get out.

Peanut finally reached the top of her tank and pushed out of the lid. Then she realized that even though she was out, she was too high up to go anywhere.

After a very long, boring time Peanut’s owner finally came home. Peanut was so happy to see her that she danced in joy!

After giving Peanut some attention and love Peanut was returned to her comfortable tank. She was so glad!

THE END!
