How to read a procedural text Read the title. It will tell you what you can learn to make or do. Check the list of supplies to see if you have everything you need. Read through all the steps to make sure you understand what to do. Then Begin!

Procedural Text Short steps that mostly begin with verbs (Cut, Fold, Add) Written in 2nd person (first you do this, then you do that) Linking words (First, next, then) Photographs, illustrations, diagrams
