PARAGUAY Landlocked country. Producer and exporter of agricultural products, meat and electricity.

RANKING  First largest net Exporter of electricity and organic sugar.  Second largest Producer and Exporter of Stevia (Ka'a He'e).  Second largest Producer of Tung.  Third largest Producer and exporter of Yerba Mate (Ilex paraguaiensis).

 Third largest Fleet barges (2,200 units with 200 tugboats), after the US and China.  Fourth largest Exporter of soybeans, charcoal, cassava starch and soy oil.  Fifth largest Exporter of soya flour and chia.  Sixth largest soybean Producer.  Sixth largest Exporter of maize.  Seventh largest Exporter of beef.

PRODUCTION POTENTIAL OF CHACO REGION HECTARES FOR POTENCIAL PRODUCTION PRINCIPAL USES ARE PEANUT, SORGHUM, SOYBEANS, SESAME, COTTON, SUGARCANE AND OTHER TROPICAL CROPS LIVESTOCK AND DAIRY PRODUCTION.
