What do centipedes and millipedes look like? small animal worm like bodies many legs some are born with all legs and segments head has antenna (like insects) tiny mouths hard outer shell (exoskeleton) enclosing muscles and organs has airpors (little holes that let in air)

Centipedes and millipedes and their habitat lives in all warm temperature regions found underground, under stones, bark and leaf litter hides in damp, dark and cool human places likes tropical places

What centipedes and millipedes eat and how they get it they are carnivores (meat eating animals) some eat plants and ruin crops they eat soft bodied insects like, spiders, small lizards and worms also eats moth larva, maggots and slugs uses poison to kill prey some eat and kill each other

How they protect themselves hides under flat rocks uses poison in its body to kill its predators and prey is very fast when being attacked has an exoskeleton

Interesting facts about centipedes and millipedes some have simple eyes, but some are blind if large ones bite you, it may cause pain, fever and swelling for up to 3 weeks most can bite through human skin some centipedes glow in the dark
