INTRODUCTION In today business environment, competitions became intensify and volatile as the consukers are getting smarter and coutious. Companies that enable sustainable growth are those equipped with appropriate business and functional strategic management tools embracing Lean Manufacturing. Lean Manufacturing techniques cover from ordring till delivery and after-sals service with continuous improvement activities 1.To equip the participants on the understanding of the concept of Lean Manufacturing and the impact throughout the business 2.To develop team spirit, understanding and participation in the implementation of a Lean Manufacturing environment through the various tools. PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP

TRAINER PROFILE He is a graduate from Polytechnic Kuantan majoring in Mechanical Engineering (Production) and also holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He comes with more than 25 years of working experiences in manufacturing industries being in Malaysia and overseas multinational companies. He was involved in Greenfield operations in Indonesia and China for the last 7 years. Most of his works are relate to lean manufacturing system which he had gained intensively during his on-job-training at Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

TRAINER PROFILE His vast experiences and exposures in manufacturing management deliberate him to continuous developing his subordinates and peer associates in TQM, 5S, Kaizen, poka yoke, JIT, kanban and many other elements. Michael Lee holds senior managerial position in several organizations and has been engaged primarily to develop lean manufacturing system to improve plant efficiency, safety and ultimately improve the company’s profitability. He is thus able to share all his experiences on how to implement Lean Manufacturing strategically effectively.
