INTRODUCTORY RITES Entrance Chant: Greeting: Priest:  In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   All:  Amen.

All: And with your spirit. Priest:  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (or) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (or) The Lord be with you. All:  And with your spirit.

Penitential Act (form A):       Priest:  Brethren (brothers and sisters), let us acknowledge our sins and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries. All:  I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; Through my fault, through my fault, Through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord, our God.

We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great glory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us;

you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer. you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

Priest:  Pray, brethren (brothers and sisters), that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father. Memorial Acclamation: Priest:  The mystery of faith:  All:  We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.     [or:] All:  When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death O Lord, until you come again.   [or:] All:  Save us, Saviour of the world, for by your cross and resurrection, you have set us free.

Great Amen: Priest:  Through him, and with him, and in him, O God almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours for ever and ever. All:  Amen! 

COMMUNION RITE Lord's Prayer: Priest:  At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:       All:  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Priest:  Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. All:  For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.

Sign of Peace: Priest:  Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles: Peace I leave you, my peace I give you; look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will. Who live and reign for ever and ever. All:  Amen. Priest:  The Peace of the Lord be with you always.  All:  And with your spirit. Deacon or Priest:  Let us offer each other the sign of peace.

Breaking of Bread: Priest:  May this mingling of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ bring eternal life to us who receive it. All: Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: grant us peace.

Communion: Priest:  Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb. All:  Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. Communion Minister:  The body of Christ.    Communicant:  Amen.
