Grammar In this unit we are going to lear how to express habilities in affirmative, negative and questions. To express habilities we need the modal verb “Can”. En esta unidad vamos aprender como expresar habilidades en afirmativo, negativo e interrogativo. Para expresar habilidades necesitamos el verbo modal “Can (poder)” Sentences (oraciones) Affirmative: Subject + modal verb + verb (action) + complement She can play the piano Negative: Subject + modal verb + negation + verb (action) + complement She can not play the piano Questions (preguntas) Modal verb + Subject + verb (action) + complement + question mark Can she play the piano ? Answers (respuestas) Affirmative: Yes, she can Negative: No, she can’t.
