 THIS CUTTER IS DESIGNED TO CUT THICK STACKS OF PAPER ONLY. It does not work well with 2 or 3 sheets of paper.  SAFETY IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!  DO NOT PUT ANY PART OF YOUR HAND CLOSE TO THE CUTTING BLADE.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN PAPER.  If you are unsure of how to operate this piece of equipment… DON’T.  Ask for help if you need it.

Gather all your materials. Paper to be cut T-square Pencil

Mark the center cut line on your paper. Use the T-square For most of our cuts we need to mark 5.5”. You only need a small mark.

Move your paper to the cutter Lift the blade handle Turn the HOLD DOWN Wheel to raise it. Push your paper all the way back to the STOP Blade Handle Rotate in clockwise direction Paper stop

Turn the stop adjustment wheel to move your paper out to the cut mark. Turn until your mark becomes visible.

Turn the hold down wheel until it will not turn. This needs to be very tight!

Pull the RED Safety knob With your other hand reach and grab the cutter handle

With one hand on the RED knob and one hand on the cutter handle, pull the handle all the way down until the paper is cut. NEVER PUT YOUR HAND IN THE PATH OF THE CUTTER BLADE

Lift the cutter handle. Release the pressure on the Hold Down Wheel.

Remove the first half of cut paper. Remove the 2 nd half of cut paper. CAUTION!!! Do not touch the blade!!!
