Pipe Cutting System Prizes and awards 2013 Exact PipeCut 220E, 280E, and 360E pipe saws by Exact Tools won the internationally prestigious Red Dot Design award. The award is granted to technically advanced and operationally superior design, and the competition involved nearly 5,000 products from all over the world. 2003 Exact pipe cutting machine was granted the honorary mention in The Fennia Prize competition which is an international competition in industrial design. The purpose of the competition is to support manufacturers of high-standard products and to promote the competitiveness and internationalization of the industry.   2001 Exact Tools Oy was granted the Innosuomi (Innovative Finland) Prize handed by the President of Finland. According to the jury, the Exact pipe cutting machines present an unique way to cut pipes in a huge traditional area of work. It is also creating a new industry.

Pipe Cutting System Exact milestones   2002 First product Exact 220 PipeCut rolled out of production in Finland in February 2002. In a year, Exact Tools Oy started to supply this product for all Scandinavian countries. 2004 Exact 360 PipeCut rolled out of production in Finland. 2005 The production was transferred from Finland to Slovenia. Exact Pipe Cutting System 200 rolled out of production. 2008 Exact Pipe Cutting System 170 and 170E rolled out of Slovenian production. 2011 Exact Pipe Cutting System 280E and Bevel Disc rolled out of production in Taiwan as well as Exact Pipe Cutting System P400 and Exact Pipe Cutting System V1000 in Slovenia. 2012 Exact Pipe Cutting System 220E and Exact Pipe Cutting System 360E will roll out of production and replace models 200 and 360.

Pipe Cutting System Ex Private label customers   2003 Orbitalum Tools GmbH (former Georg Fischer RVT) contacted Exact and asked if could we produce our product under their +GF+ brand. Our first private label deal was done. 2004 T-Drill Oy contacted us and asked for private label products. Second private label deal with T-Drill Oy / T-Drill inc. 2005 Asada Corporation visited our office in Helsinki and asked for private label products for Japanese markets. Third private label deal with Asada Corporation. 2006 Rothenberger Spain office contacted us. Fourth private label deal with Rothenberger Group. 2007 Fifth private label deal with Victaulic Europe. 2009-2010 Global recession began. Exact Tools Oy was facing the fact that the sales of big private label customers does not grow anymore. Exact Tools Oy made a decision to start new strategy in sales. 2012 Exact gives up private label customers (except Asada Corporation) and focuses in developing and marketing Exact brand.

Other Products

Bevel Disc Adjustable bevel tool for plastic pipes can make 15 degree bevel to all plastic pipes from Ø 60 mm to Ø 120 mm. The Bevel Disc is operated with any cordless drill that has 13 mm drill chuck. It takes only a few seconds to make a nice bevel to plastic pipe.

Pipe Support V1000 We recommend that you use the Exact Pipe Support V1000 to support the pipes when using the Exact PipeCut V1000 pipe saw. These pipe holders are specially designed to be used with the Exact PipeCut V1000 pipe saw. They can be used with pipes from 75 mm (3”) up to 1000 mm (40”). The pipe supports are sold separately. Each set of Pipe Support V1000 contain 3 pcs of two position supports in a shoulder bag.
