EJL kohtunike seminar veebruaril a Kaereperes Mida on uut võistlusmäärustes? Madis Lepajõe UCI komissar

Millest räägin Muudatused võistlusmäärustes: maanteel maastikurattasõidus küsimused-vastused

PART 1 GENERAL ORGANISATION OF CYCLING AS A SPORT Each year, organisers shall apply to their respective national federations to have their races included on the world or continental calendar. By filing its application, the organiser commits to respecting the UCI constitution and regulations. The organiser of a track, cyclo-cross, mountain bike or BMX event in which riders of three or more foreign federations participated, must request the inclusion of the next edition of his event on the international calendar. The event shall not be included in the national calendar, except if its inclusion in the international calendar is rejected.

PART 1 GENERAL ORGANISATION OF CYCLING AS A SPORT Dates of the National Championships National road championships shall be run during the last week of the month of June. If this is not the case, no UCI points may be awarded. All results must be received by UCI by or fax no later than two days after the last day of the event. No result received after that time shall be taken into consideration for the UCI classification. National mountain bike championships shall be run on the 29th weekend of the year. National BMX championships shall be run on the first weekend of July.

PART 1 GENERAL ORGANISATION OF CYCLING AS A SPORT In the event of any non-compliance that cannot be rectified in good time, the start of the event may be delayed or cancelled or the event may be stopped. The Commissaires' Panel may withdraw if necessary, either at its own initiative or upon the instruction of the UCI.

PART 1 GENERAL ORGANISATION OF CYCLING AS A SPORT The UCI shall not be liable for any consequences deriving from the choice of the equipment used by licence holders, nor for any defects it may have or its non-compliance. Equipment used must meet applicable official quality and safety standards. A licence holder is not authorised to modify, in any way, the equipment given by the manufacturer used in competition.

PART 1 GENERAL ORGANISATION OF CYCLING AS A SPORT For that purpose, the commissaire and the UCI can requisition equipment for a subsequent check, if necessary even during the race, after the rider changed it.

PART 2 ROAD RACES bis Organisers of events that include a time trial must make a measuring jig for time-trial bicycles at disposal of the commissaires’ panel. The jig must comply with the Protocol for the Construction available on the UCI website. The organiser is solely liable for the compliance of the jig with UCI specifications. The jig is given to the president of the commissaires' panel who verifies its compliance with UCI specifications.

PART 2 ROAD RACES The signing of the starting sheet will terminate ten minutes before the time for leaving the assembly point. Riders shall be required to sign on the starting sheet, otherwise be eliminated or disqualified from the race. However, in case of the occasion of particular circumstances, the commissaires panel might allow the riders in question to start.

PART 2 ROAD RACES Technical support Whatever the position of a rider in the race, he may receive such assistance and mechanical check (brakes for example) only to the rear of his bunch and when stationary. The greasing of chains from a moving vehicle shall be forbidden. In case of a fall, the implementation of this disposal is left to commissaire’s discretion.

PART 2 ROAD RACES INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIALS Start All riders must present themselves for checks on their bicycles no later than 15 minutes before their start time. Before the start, an additional check can be done.

PART 2 ROAD RACES Finish If, as the result of a duly noted fall in the last three kilometers, a rider cannot cross the finishing line, he shall be placed last in the group of riders he was riding with and credited with the time of the rider or riders in whose company he was riding at the time of the accident.

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES Cross-country Marathon – XCM Cross-country marathon events are open to all riders aged 19 or over and include masters categories. No separate results must be submitted for under 23 or masters categories.

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES Cross-country Marathon – XCM In cross-country marathon events or the UCI mountain bike marathon Series, master riders may ride with a temporary or day licence issued by the competent national federation.

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES Anyone who is found to have altered the course has his/her accreditation removed or, in case of a rider, is disqualified (DSQ).

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES (1) The cross-country Marathon format races must respect the following minimum distances: Minimum distances Marathon (cycling for all) 60 km Continental championships 80 km World championships 80 km The maximum distance is 120 km. Any organizer wishing to use distances outside those stated must obtain preliminary permission from UCI.

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES (2) The race can be run over a single lap, or multi-lap with a maximum number of laps of three (3). In the event of a single lap the course may not include any section to be covered twice. Only the start and finishing lines may be located at the same place. In the event of a multi-lap race, short-cuts on the lap for the women’s race are not allowed.

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES The course for a cross-country point to point event must be between 25 km and 60 km in length. The event must start in one place and finish elsewhere. XCP events are used mostly during stage races (XCS). XCP races registered on the international calendar do not give UCI points.

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES /……………../ Double feed/technical assistance zones are strongly recommended. For Olympic format cross-country events (XCO) 1 double zone or 2 single zones are set up. For marathon format cross-country events (XCM) at least 3 feed/technical assistance zones are set up. Organisers must anticipate on the team staff access possibilities during cross-country marathon events.

PART 4 MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES The organiser must provide for cross-country events a motorcycle to mark the front of the race (“lead bike”), and a motorcycle to mark the rear of the race ("sweep bike"). For Olympic format events, the lead bike must display on its front the number of laps remaining in the race.

PART 12 DISCIPLINE AND PROCEDURES (1) 37bis. Mechanical assistance, refreshments and behaviour of a team manager and/or a rider which damages the image of cycling. (For instance: «sticky bidons», mechanical check not properly done when stationary, etc.) 1st infringement: -Team Manager: 20 to 100, -Rider: 20 to 100;

PART 12 DISCIPLINE AND PROCEDURES 37bis (2) 2nd infringement at the same stage or race: -Team Manager: One-day race: vehicle demoted to the last place for the entire race concerned; Stage race: vehicle demoted to the last place in the stage concerned; - Rider: 100, 5 penalty points in points classification and 10“.

PART 12 DISCIPLINE AND PROCEDURES 37bis (3) 3rd infringement at the same stage or race: - Team manager: 200, excluded from the competition - Team: vehicle excluded until the end of the race without the possibility of being replaced - Rider: 200, 5 points in the points classification and 10“.
