About Us Regional Network ► ► 8 organisations ► ► 7 classrooms ► ► 1 multimedia studio 1 video studio 1 web design studio 1 graphic design studio Overall aim of the Telecentar Network is to develop competencies required for active participation in knowledge society. Zagreb Belgrade Novi Sad Sarajevo Prijedor Slavonski Brod Travnik Gostivar Capacity of the Telecentar Network is sufficient to deliver over school hours of various training modules on annual basis. Around 4500 vulnerable persons were trained within the Telecentar Lifelong Learning 3L Programme in a period from 2003 to 2006.

Vision and Mission Vision of the Telecentar Network is brand recognised for high quality of the lifelong learning programme and complementary services. Mission of the Telecentar Network is To promote the lifelong learning as a development tool. To stimulate social inclusion of marginalised groups. To search for the best teaching and learning practices. To develop and implement the lifelong learning programme. To develop computer enhanced training programmes.

YEAR 2003 Danish Government provided start-up funding. Opening of pilot Telecentars in Travnik and Prijedor. Developed first 2 modules within ICT Programme. Around 350 persons trained in Telecentar 3L Programme. Established strategic partnership with UNESCO. Study visit to Hungary. Microsoft MCP Training of ICT Trainers. YEAR 2004 Developed Strategy of the Telecentar Network. Opening of Telecentar in Slavonski Brod. Opening of IAN Telecentar in Belgrade. ECDL Training of ICT Trainers. 2 new ICT and 5 English Language training modules. Around 700 persons trained in Telecentar 3L Programme. YEAR 2006 Around 2000 persons trained in Telecentar 3L Programme. Training of Trainers for the Life Skills Programme. Develop first 7 Entrepreneurship training modules. Telecentars Slavonski Brod and Novi Sad certified as Authorised ECDL Test Centre. Opening of Multimedia Production Studios in Zagreb, Gostivar, Belgrade and Novi Sad. Opening of Telecentar in Sarajevo. YEAR 2005 IAN Telecentar certified as Authorised ECDL Test Centre. Developed first 6 Life Skills and 3 new ICT modules. First public sector donations in Croatia. Around 1500 persons trained in Telecentar 3L Programme. Opening of Telecentars in Gostivar and Novi Sad. Telecentars Travnik & Prijedor became ECDL Test Centres. Microsoft was first private sector donor for IAN Telecentar. History

Telecentar Lifelong Learning 3L Programme 1. Information and Communication Technology Programme European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) With over 4 million participants, the ECDL is the world's largest vendor-neutral end-user computer skills certification and is internationally recognised as the global benchmark in this area. 2. Foreign Languages Programme Telecentars English language programme complies with the Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Core Curriculum, developed by the British government Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and the Basic Skills Agency (BSA). 3. Life Skills Programme Telecentar life skills programme improves general skills that are not directly related to any concrete job, but have become increasingly important in a modern working environment. 4. Entrepreneurship Programme Telecentar entrepreneurship programme intends to cover all the functions, activities and actions associated with start-up and management of the small and medium size enterprises.

Telecentar Multimedia Production Multimedia Production Services of the Telecentar Network have been aligned with the EU partnership concept for growth and jobs, i2010 that will integrate potentials of the information and communication technology and audio-visual media. 1. Video Production Video production includes production of educational, scientific and documentary programme for broadcasting on television and distribution on multimedia DVDs. 2. Web and Graphic Design Web and Graphic Design are simultaneously used as internal public relations and external marketing services for commercial clients. 3. e-Learning Multimedia Production of the e-learning modules supplement face to face training programmes with interactive learning content for online and offline learning activities.

Donors and Clients Telecentar Network provides donor funded services for the vulnerable groups and commercial services for individuals and organisations from public, private and civil sector.
