Carers Action October 2014 New service continued Hours can be used flexibly over a 4-week period and adjusted as the needs of the customer change. Based on agreed need and how outcomes will be achieved. Care delivery will be monitored through electronic monitoring. This can be shared with the customer so that they know how much care they have received and how much time still to use. Contract monitoring will be more focused on quality of care and outcomes for the individual and less on time. Care workers will support with lower level health tasks – a more streamlined approach to care provision.
