In 2002 the WLTS (West London Transport Strategy Group) identified a need for the development of an application that could: PROJECT BACKGROUND Ü Store Travel Plan documents in a centralised location. Ü Capture Travel Plan target and survey data. Ü Produce specific reports from captured Travel Plan data. Ü Record Travel Plan organisation information. Ü Contain a GIS mapping element to: Ü identify and link Travel Plan location site Ü show transport linkages in relation to organisations TRAVEL PLAN DATABASE....

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT Ü iBase chosen to develop a suitable software application.  TfL, via WLTS,fund the project.  TfL, via WLTS, fund the project. Ü London Borough of Ealing led project on behalf of WLTS. Ü June 2004 the London Borough of Brent took over the project at the pilot & testing stage.
