Sport and Active Recreation in Charnwood Charnwood Borough Council’s Sport and Recreation team consists of 13 officers, working in different areas and with different age groups across the borough. SPORT AND ACTIVE RECREATION
Leicestershire County Council / County Sports Partnership and Public Health commissioned Charnwood Borough Council to deliver the Sport and Physical Activity Commissioning Plan. £233,000 was awarded to support the delivery of the 2014/15 Commissioning Plan. No one will ever know just what a big deal it was for me to get there in the first place but I’m so glad I did. My confidence has grown immensely.. I felt so much better after every walk It was great to be doing something active while making new friends.
