Rock – God is: Omnipotent – all powerful Omnipresent – all present Omniscient – all knowing

Rock - Caring Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 2 Peter 5 v 6 & 7

RocK - Knowledgeable God knows what is best for us. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1 v 7... For the Lord is the God of knowledge;... I Samuel 2 v 3 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2 v 19

Jesus said that when we’re listening to his words on how to live our lives, then we’re being like the wise builder – building our lives on the rock. Just like a house needs firm foundations, so do our lives, and God helps us to have that.

Isaiah 28 v16 Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.
