GOOD NEWS 19 STUDENTS QUALIFIED FOR ME DAYS. To qualify for ME days students must meet or exceed state goals and standards in 3 of 5 subjects –(including math and reading) Reading and Writing Scores are up for the third year in a row. Composite ACT scores are up in core students This years scores were predictable through the use of PLAN. Low income level is the lowest it has been in many years Attendance rate has been consistent.

BAD NEWS Science scores have dropped by 6.9 points Math scores have dropped by 10.2 points Non Core student ACT composite scores have dropped by.5 points No female students exceeded any subjects except writing

TARGET  Review current data available to professional staff PSAE - (11 th graders) Implemented PLAN (10 th graders)– Implemented EXPLORE – (9 th graders) Implement during This will allow us to track students from Freshman year through junior year. In addition, it will give students 3 full years of experience to an ACT format test prior to taking the PSAE (ACT is part of the PSAE).
