About (DACT) Training Options 2 The DACT project is jointly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Department of Social Protection (DSP) DACT is targeted at the Border, Midlands and Western regions The target group for this funded project is people with disability, 16 to 65 years of age Participants must be in receipt of a disability/illness welfare payment

Training Options (Eligibility) 3  To qualify, participants should be in receipt of any of the following disability/illness welfare payments; 1. Disability allowance 2. Invalidity Pension 3. Illness Benefit 4. Blind Pension 5. Disablement Benefit 6. Incapacity Supplement 7. Injury Benefit

Training Options (Programme) learners over 32 months in 8 locations across the Border/Midland/Western Region. In Brief the programme will include:  12 weeks of training  Three (3) FETAC Level 3 modules in Work Experience Computer Literary Personal / Interpersonal Skills  10 days of work experience

Training Options (Employee Benefits) 6 Benefits to employee include:  12 week programme which will include achieving three (3) FETAC accredited certificates  10 days practical work experience  Individual Employment Plan  On the job support and Coaching  Follow up support and Mentoring  Assistance with workplace integration  Advice on Employment Benefits and Entitlements  Employees can keep their payment while participating on this programme

Training Options (Employer Benefits) 7 Benefits to employer include:  Database of skilled jobseekers  Access to a committed workforce Grants & Financial Support:  Wage subsidy Scheme (WSS)  Workplace Equipment/Adaptation Grant (WEAG)  Job Interview – Interpreter Grant (JIIG)  Personal Reader Grant (PRG)  Employee Retention Grant Scheme (ERGS)

Congress Centre Networks 8 The Congress Centre Networks was established in 1985 in partnership with FAS as a trade union response to the unemployment crisis in the eighties. Training Options programme is designed based on the experience and knowledge gained by staff at CCN’s in communicating with and supporting unemployed people on a daily basis.

DACT Other forms for completion 14 The following Forms must be completed during the programme: 1. Daily Attendance Sheet 2. Evaluation Form
