Guest Speaker Jeff Soule Transition to speaker Jeff Soule The foregoing speakers have summarized the large scale and rapid pace of pending/planned residential development in and around Talbot County As we go into an election cycle TPA and its supporters need to remind voters, and candidates for office, of the fiscal and social effects of this development TPA will be asking candidates for local office to take a clear stand on these issues. What are the likely effects of this development potential on our community and particularly our local fiscal/tax obligations? What steps can we ask candidates to take to mitigate adverse tax/economic effects? Jeff Soule will help us understand the issues and identify the appropriate questions.
